Please be sure to backup your customizations before running the installation. Stop the WiredContact Service and run IISReset to release the wceweb.dll. Run the WiredContact installation, and when the install dialog asks, you should select the Repair option. The Repair option should preserve all customizations.

Please be sure to backup your customizations before running the installation. Before the install, log off all of the WiredContact ACT! users via the WiredContact Configuration program. Then Stop the World Wide Web publishing service and the new WiredContact Service Application if you have previously started it. Then run the WiredContact installation, and when the install dialog asks, you should select the Repair option. The Repair option should preserve all customizations.

Please note: WiredContact now maintains an open connection to the ACT! database. If you need to log the WiredContact users off of your ACT! database (to perform ACT! maintenance or upgrade your software), you will need to go to the WiredContact Configuration program and click on the Manage ACT! Logins menu and click on Release ACT! Logins.
